Offset & Industrialization (O&I)
Most International defense contracts, over certain values, will require some of the contract value, invested back into their own countries defense infrastructure. This is usually done by an offset or industrialization program. This can effectively introduce new suppliers into your supply chain or create opportunities to invest in technology development within the target Country, in exchange for offset credit.
